Project Description:
Design Tree provided comprehensive mechanical and electrical services for West River Parkway (The Peregrine), a LEED-certified, affordable housing development in Minneapolis. The project included 150 dwelling units spread over 250,000 sq ft, featuring a six-story apartment building with an underground parking garage.
Midway through the project, the decision was made to pursue LEED certification. Our mechanical team rose to the challenge, delivering LEED calculations for MEP credits and offering guidance on selecting appropriate LEED credits. This support ensured that the building met the stringent requirements for LEED certification.
We collaborated closely with the architect, Urban Works, and the contractor, Greiner Construction, to achieve the project goals. The result was a sustainable, high-quality residential space that provides affordable housing while meeting environmental standards.
