Project Recap
The St. Cloud Area School District sought to improve its Alternative Learning Centers, which were previously scattered across several leased and owned buildings. In 2020, the district acquired a vacant office building in an industrial park with sufficient space to consolidate these programs into a single, more coherent, and efficient facility.
Design Tree Engineering supported this initiative by designing essential site improvements. Our design provided ample staff and student parking, a separate bus/van chute, and accessible pathways to enhance functionality and safety. Additionally, our sustainable site design included a retention pond to treat stormwater generated from the site before it entered the City of St. Cloud’s storm sewer infrastructure. This project exemplifies our commitment to creating practical, environmentally friendly solutions that support educational institutions.
