The seven-court tennis complex at Fridley High School had reached the end of its service life, limiting safe, consistent play. The district needed a complete rebuild and needed it fast. Design Tree was brought in to deliver a full reconstruction on an expedited schedule.
Our civil engineering team led the project from the ground up, designing a new pavement section and fencing layout to ensure long-term performance. We incorporated a “California Corner” configuration to improve circulation and playability, installed new net post systems, and developed striping plans for both tennis and pickleball to support broader use. Throughout the process, we facilitated permitting, bidding, construction administration, and closeout to keep the project moving without delay.
Delivering this level of work under a compressed timeline required tight coordination, responsive communication, and a clear understanding of how to build courts that last. The result is a smooth, durable, and consistent playing surface with reduced long-term maintenance needs.
The upgraded complex gives Fridley High School a flexible, high-quality facility that serves students, athletes, and the surrounding community for years to come.
