Project Description:
Design Tree was honored to collaborate with Hagemeister Mack, Breitbach Construction, and the St. Mary Parish on the construction of the new Church of St. Mary's in Melrose. The project, with an estimated construction budget of $6 million, featured a worship space, narthex, and daily mass chapel. While additional spaces were planned for future construction, they were not included in this phase of the design.
Our involvement with the Church of St. Mary's extended beyond this project. Following a past fire, our team assisted the parish by evaluating the damage and identifying the requirements for rebuilding. This prior engagement provided us with invaluable familiarity with both the church and the city's regulatory processes, streamlining our project coordination.
Design Tree's comprehensive civil, electrical, and mechanical services were pivotal in integrating critical internal and external systems for the new church. We worked closely with Hagemeister Mack to realize a high-end architectural design that included a drive-up canopy and a bell tower with sophisticated lighting design. Our civil team also collaborated with the owner to develop a traffic plan and layout tailored to their needs.
This project was a testament to our commitment to quality and partnership, ensuring the Church of St. Mary's new facilities serve their congregation effectively and beautifully.
